Refreshing The Walking Nonfunctional photos have given us our first look up at the main villain in season 11.

Ritchie Coster will play Roman Catholic Pope, the leader of the mysterious and heavily briary Reapers, who were first gear mentioned towards the end of season 10. The Reapers are a hostile aggroup of survivors and are set to be the main antagonists in the new flavor. Coster has previously appeared in movies like The Dark Dub and TV shows like True Detective.

Season 11 will exist the long-running zombie show's last installment. As substantially as spick-and-span additions to the cast like Coster, familiar faces including Frenchman Reedus' Daryl, Genus Melissa McBride's Carol, Lauren George M. Cohan's Maggie, and Christian Serratos's Rosita are also returning.

There are three Walking Dead movies on the way, which wish center around Sprain Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). There are cardinal new spin-off shows in the works, too – buff favorites Carol and Daryl are also getting their own show, patc Tales of the Walk Dead is described as an "occasional anthology with individual episodes operating theater arcs of episodes concentrated on new or alive characters, backstories or new complete experiences."

The new season of The Walk Dead begins connected AMC on August 22 (although the temper 11 first aired a week early connected AMC Plus), with a UK liberation following the next day on Disney Plus.
